Since 2001, Bailey Compton has owned and operated an incorporated Legal Practice and Training Organisation. For 15 years prior to that, Bailey worked at the Office of Fair Trading in NSW and WA in the area of legislative reform, investigation, Licensing and prosecution.

Bailey’s experience involves all aspects of real estate, law, business and finance.

Vivien is the Chief Executive Officer of Leverage Group and oversees all operations across both Leverage Solicitors and Leverage Academy.

She brings 17 years of Strategy, Marketing, Accountancy, Business Development, Human Resources and other experience to Leverage Group.

With a long career in Real Estate and Law, Vivien has maintained an innovative approach to the operation of Leverage Group and is instrumental in the growth of the business and it’s overall functions.

Bruce Horton spent many years teaching and working as a public servant. For the last 15 years, he has been a senior solicitor & trainer with Leverage Group.

Bruce’s role is to ensure that Leverage remains compliant with its own policies and procedures as well as all applicable legislation. Bruce also provides research and development for the continual growth of our team and business, working closely with both our Managing Director Bailey Compton and our Chief Executive Officer, Vivien Compton.

With over 40 years of experience, Bruce’s expertise in his fields are invaluable to Leverage Group.

Drawing on more than 25 years of industry expertise, Craig’s background is underpinned with strong finance and legal skills. Beginning in the finance sector, Craig moved into Real Estate, honing his skills as a commercial agent, learning the ropes with site acquisitions, amalgamations, town planning, finance and sales.
Since joining Leverage Group, Craig has been instrumental in building the company’s corporate network and assisting them with all matters of business. Craig holds a NSW practising certificate and a number of licenses under the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act, and is a regular trainer, commentator and guest speaker in Real Estate related forums.

As our Business Development Manager, Cameron has quickly proven himself to be invaluable as a results oriented, team player. He brings youth, enthusiasm and a genuine understanding as to what drives those in the property industry. He’s a natural “people person”. Cameron joined us in 2014 - and after a short sabbatical, rejoined the team as part of our drive to re-connect, grow and broaden our client base.

Highly aspirational, Cameron relates readily with the sector that the Leverage Group services. He’s grown up in and around agents, agency practice and real estate and once held a licence himself. Cameron once remarked, “it’s all about communication; If we can understand the needs of our clients, we’re halfway to solving it …”.

Ellena brings to Leverage an incredible amount of wide ranging experience. Most recently Ellena was employed as a Police Officer with the New South Wales Police Force for three years. Previous to that, Ellena worked with Slattery Thompson as a Lawyer, advising and advocating in areas of Property, Finance, Wills & Estates, Conveyancing and Criminal, as well as working as a Journalist and Producer at SBS and then 2SM Radio.

Ellena is currently a member of our Legal team, using her considerable skills and knowledge to support and act for our clients. She is a great communicator, highly team oriented with a great sense of humour.

Carlie is joins our firm as a Conveyancer, fully qualified, having studied at Macquarie University. Carlie began her career as a Legal Secretary and has since held roles in many sectors of the Property Industry including Strata and Valuation.

Carlie comes to us with a wealth of Real Estate, Strata, Valuation and Conveyancing experience and will be managing our Commercial and Business Conveyancing department as well as working closely with our Director, Solicitors and Paralegals.

Margaret has been with Leverage for four years and from the first moment has been an inexpressibly valuable member of our team. Starting out as our Receptionist, Margaret, also Justice of the Peace, moved into an Executive Assistant role with our Managing Director, Bailey Compton. Currently, Margaret is our Senior Executive Paralegal working in Conveyancing and Wills and Estates. She also trains and manages Leverage’s small team of paralegals and administrative assistants.

Margaret is a vibrant and affable presence who brings great humour to our daily lives.

Yvette is the Academy’s Licensing/ Training Manager. Yvette is a career training professional with over 10 years’ experience managing RTO’s.

Yvette’s tremendous capabilities and rigorous work ethic result in the high functioning of the Academy. Yvette herself manages a small team, dozens of courses per month and hundreds of students at any given time, with boundless patience and humour. We value her greatly.

Tracy is a recent but no less valuable addition to the Leverage team in the capacity of Receptionist. She comes to us with 15 years of Accounting experience and 15 years in Sales.

As the face of Leverage Group’s Norwest Office, Tracy is positive and energetic on a daily basis, without exception. As receptionist, Tracy manages our reception area, phones, emails, meeting and greeting clients, managing the calendar, taking payments and undertaking various administrative tasks.

Kathy is one of the youngest members of the Leverage team but comes with a great passion and extensive experience in Customer Service including, most recently, with Zara Pitt Street and The Palace Tea Room.

Kathy has taken on the Receptionist role at Leverage’s Wynyard Office where she will be conducting our settlements along with managing our reception area, phones, emails, meeting and greeting clients, managing schedules, taking payments and undertaking various other administrative tasks.

Kathy is a tremendously kind and generous member of the Leverage Team.

Tanaya is a junior Paralegal working closely with our Senior Executive Paralegal, Margaret with a focus on Conveyancing. Tanaya joined the Leverage team over two years ago as a Receptionist having come to us from a strong customer service background. Her initiative and work ethic was quickly proven and Tanaya was trained up and moved into a Paralegal role within her first six months.

Tanaya is a good-humoured and hardworking member of the Leverage Team with a great ability to communicate and build long-lasting client and corporate relationships.

Student Liaison Officer

Gillian has now been with Leverage Group for two years, starting out as an Administrative Assistant and is now our Student Liaison Officer. Gillian came to us with great customer service and sales experience and uses these skills to build and maintain our corporate relationships as well as to manage Leverage Academy courses and other events. Gillian is also a vital part of our student support and guidance program.

In her own time, Gillian is a master creator of Costumes and Wigs and an avid attendee of conventions and other similar events. She is an amiable, able and valuable member of the Leverage Team.
