Bailey Compton
Founder, Principal Solicitor, Senior Trainer
Bailey is a graduate of Macquarie University (Bachelor of Laws) and holds several Licenses under the NSW Property, Stock & Business Agent’s Act (ie. Real Estate, Stock & Station, Business Broking & Strata Management). Bailey is TAE certified and is a regular contributor, invitee and organiser of real estate & property oriented forums and events.
Bailey has been described by some as an Icon in the agency & property sector.
Unquestionably, Bailey has inspired, mentored and educated several generations of real estate agency professionals – across the entire spectrum of license categories – and shows no signs relinquishing his dominance.
More than an educator and industry leader, Bailey is also a talented lawyer. He’s brought his unique legal thinking to bear on some of the most challenging legal stand-offs, producing elegant solutions and conclusive results.
Bailey has been the face of the Leverage Group for over 15 years, and during this time has molded a formidable legal team under the banner of Leverage Solicitors. Leverage Solicitors prides itself on its breadth of service, whilst offering some of the most sought after specialist legal services, with an emphasis on the real property sector.
Under the banner of Leverage Academy, Bailey’s assembled a team of trainers, business developers and administrative staff that is the envy of the sector.
Together, Bailey’s law firm and his academy constitute The Leverage Group.
Bailey began is professional journey as a graduate Solicitor with the NSW State government legal office. Within a short time, Bailey was promoted into the legal division of the NSW Office of Fair Trading. His successes in management and policy in this capacity, sharped his acumen and lead to his elevation into the role of Fair Trading prosecutor within the Western Australian government, where Bailey again flourished.
Applying a rare combination of razor-sharp legal knowledge, astute business sense and an innate understanding of people, Bailey rode a wave of success that finally bright him home to NSW, where he established and grew the legal practice that is now the cornerstone of the Leverage Group. From the momentum of the legal practice, the academy (RTO) commenced.
Bailey stands alone as arguably the single most influential thinker, commentator, trainer, lawyer, business builder and collaborator that the real estate agency and property sector has produced.

Vivien Compton
Chief Executive Officer Real Estate Licence, Business Broker’s Licence, Cert IV Marketing, Training and Assessment (TAE), JP
Vivien is the Chief Executive Officer of Leverage Group and oversees all operations across both Leverage Solicitors and Leverage Academy.
She brings 17 years of Strategy, Marketing, Accountancy, Business Development, Human Resources and other experience to Leverage Group.
With a long career in Real Estate and Law, Vivien has maintained an innovative approach to the operation of Leverage Group and is instrumental in the growth of the business and it’s overall functions.

Bruce Horton

Bruce Horton spent many years teaching and working as a public servant. For the last 15 years, he has been a senior solicitor & trainer with Leverage Group.
Bruce’s role is to ensure that Leverage remains compliant with its own policies and procedures as well as all applicable legislation. Bruce also provides research and development for the continual growth of our team and business, working closely with both our Managing Director Bailey Compton and our Chief Executive Officer, Vivien Compton.
With over 40 years of experience, Bruce’s expertise in his fields are invaluable to Leverage Group.

Drawing on more than 25 years of industry expertise, Craig’s background is underpinned with strong finance and legal skills. Beginning in the finance sector, Craig moved into Real Estate, honing his skills as a commercial agent, learning the ropes with site acquisitions, amalgamations, town planning, finance and sales.
Since joining Leverage Group, Craig has been instrumental in building the company’s corporate network and assisting them with all matters of business. Craig holds a NSW practising certificate and a number of licenses under the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act, and is a regular trainer, commentator and guest speaker in Real Estate related forums.
Cameron Compton
Business Development Manager
As our Business Development Manager, Cameron has quickly proven himself to be invaluable as a result oriented, team player. He brings young, enthusiasm and genuine understanding as to what drives those in the property industry. He’s a natural “people person”. Cameron joined us in 2014 – and after a short sabbatical, re-joined the team as part of our drive to re-connect, grow and broaden our client base. Highly aspirational, Cameron relates readily with the sector that the Leverage Group services. He’s grown up in and around agents, agency practice and real estate and once held a licence himself. Cameron once remarked, it’s all about communication; If we can understand the needs of our clients, we’re half way to solving it…
Coralie Harbulot

Coralie is the Accounts Manager at Leverage Group and has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial sector.
Coralie brings her extraordinary accounting experience and her commercial acumen provides stable economic foundations for the firm.
Coralie’s uniquely positive attitude, fast and efficient work ethic make her a highly valued member of our team.

Margaret Briggs
Senior Executive Paralegal / JP
Margaret has been with Leverage for four years and from the first moment has been an inexpressibly valuable member of our team. Starting out as our Receptionist, Margaret, also Justice of the Peace, moved into an Executive Assistant role with our Managing Director, Bailey Compton. Currently, Margaret is our Senior Executive Paralegal working in Conveyancing and Wills and Estates. She also trains and manages Leverage’s small team of paralegals and administrative assistants.
Margaret is a vibrant and affable presence who brings great humour to our daily lives.

Stephanie Yao
Solicitor, BCom/LLB (Hons) - USYD
After graduating from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Economics) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Stephanie was admitted as a lawyer in 2014.
She has worked as a solicitor ever since, joining Leverage Group in 2020. Stephanie specialises in property law and has extensive experience in end-to-end conveyancing, running the full gamut of transactions: from house and unit sales and purchases, to acting for developers and purchasers in high value off-the-plan projects…but however many matters cross her desk, she remains genuinely invested in each and every one.
Combining a keen mind with a bright and friendly demeanour, you can rest assured that Stephanie will always do her best by you.

Michelle Webster
Accounts/Bookkeeper - Diploma of Accounting
Michelle has been working with the Leverage Team for three years as our accounts officer. Michelle brings Leverage her knowledge and experience from many years working with small businesses and Tax Accountants.
Michelle assists Bailey and the legal team with invoicing matters and attends to the day to day accounting of Leverage Group with an attention to detail and strong work ethic.

Leyla Bozkurt
Student Support Administrator / JP
Leyla Bozkurt is our student support administrator who guides students through their education journey with Leverage Academy.
Leyla is a highly motivated individual who has been in the RTO industry for 5 years and within these years has gained a wealth of knowledge and skills to undertake planning and compliance methodology to assist students to achieve their academic success.
Leyla is passionate about helping people feel connected and driving them towards their career objectives. Leyla believes that building connections through uniquely designed training programs and recognising achievements are key to student’s success.
Leyla holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Certificate IV in Small Business Management.
