Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Legislation

(Information for Leverage Solicitors’ Clients)

From 1 July 2026, lawyers are regulated by AUSTRAC under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing legislation and must undertake “customer due diligence” when providing certain “designated services”, such as conveyancing. Clients are required to provide certain information to Leverage Solicitors prior to the lawyer undertaking those services.  The following documents and links provide further information on AML/CTF obligations and privacy rights for clients engaging Leverage Solicitors. For further information or clarification, please get in touch with Leverage Solicitors on 1300 438 538. To assist you with your matter, and to avoid any delays, please allow enough time for the customer due diligence process to be completed.
